A Question For Me?

A Cruise to...

Nowhere.

Imagine a clear blue sky with white clouds floating by, glistening blue ocean, a clean white ship, oh-so-delightfully-entertaining people, money-making and losing sessions in the smoky casino, eating delicious buffet food twice, taking endless pictures of ourselves with 3 cameras and basically having a fun time for 10 hours on a ship.

That's exactly what I just did. And boy, was it fun!

Except the losing-money-at-the-smoky-casino-part, of course.

Actually, this was an impulsive trip. As my relatives had come down from KL the day before, we gathered in my uncle's house that night for some makan and chit-chat. My aunt informed is that the 3 of them had booked a cruise to nowhere and asked us to join them. My aunt and uncle from KL immediately agreed and persuaded my parents and I to tag along. So, that's how it all started.

The cruise was from 10am to 8pm. After parking the car, going through a customs check and boarding the ship, we were finally off!

Pictures ahead. Let them tell the story instead.

Upon reaching the ship...

The photo-taking sessions began...

Fingers were pointed...

At the photographers...

Who took shots...

Other than ourselves...

Ahh...that's better...

We rested for awhile...

Before heading for the restaurant...

To queue up for food...

Yong Tau Fu...

Salted egg and chicken...

Sandwich...

A mixture of everything...

Dried fish...

We went to watch a movie, The Day The Earth Stood Still before heading to the casino to lose, oops! I meant win money.

Then, we ate dinner.

Yee sang...

Dried kuetiao...

Us stopping to smile for the camera...

We headed outside...

To catch the sunset...

And begin posing again...

In a retarded way...

As the sun went down...

The moon came up...

So we enjoyed the breeze...

While the moon shone upon us...

We were finally satisfied...

But we checked the photos first...

To make sure that we had took every possible shot...

Before taking this shot...

And before we knew it, it was time to leave...

Goodbye, ship.

It was an unforgettable experience.
