A Question For Me?

Fame UP! The end of another chapter in life

Fame UP!: The Musical is something that I'm very proud of.

I am so proud of the people behind this musical who have been working so hard for the past 6 months or so. All of you have put in so much effort into this musical that it is no wonder that all 3 nights have been a phenomenal success.

Thank you everyone, from the actors & actresses, to the band, musicians & cakgelong team, the unseen but highly appreciated members of the crew & production team and of course, the emcees and teachers who have been working tirelessly since last year to ensure the success of this musical.

Honestly, Fame UP! to me, initially started of just as another project, another project to accomplish, another project to include into my resume. However, as the days passed, and boy, did they fly pass me, I realised that this was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (I know how cliched that sounds, but it is true) and that I should make the most of it.

In the span of 6 months, I have made many new friends, people whom I don't normally interact with in school, but thanks to Fame UP!, all of you have become part of my family. You have all taught me so many different things, in ways you may not know of, but you have made a huge difference in my life, some way or another.

Planning and organising Fame UP! has not been an easy task and I am very fortunate to have such a supportive production team and teachers who have been such a blessing. It is indeed a joy working with all of you and I am glad to also get the chance to know you all better.

In the production of this musical, there were also numerous conflicts and arguments between the cast & crew but I am pleased that all of us (and me included) have managed to close ranks and work towards a common goal, which is to make this musical a hit. I know that I have been very harsh with some of you and I would like to apologise for my behavior. Please forgive me.

Words cannot express the feelings I feel whenever I see the cast, band and musicians performing to their very best and and not forgetting the crew who worked behind the scenes during the show. It is indeed a moment to be proud of, and I am very sure that you are all proud of yourselves too. Fame UP! is a huge success to me, and I do not care about the comments from others because I know you have all done your best for this musical and it DID pay off. And thanks to your hard work and dedication, Fame UP! is a success!

Fame UP! will always have a special place in my heart as it is the first and probably the last! musical that I have produced in St. George's. Thank you everyone once again for giving me this opportunity to work with all of you. I really miss all of you now and I will definitely feel lost for a month or so without having to attend practices, shouting at people and also being shouted at! :P

You have no idea how much you all mean to me.

Thank you Fame UPpers!

I ♥ you all.
